The University of Arizona's trip to the Alpi Cozie Park as part of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in May between the two institutions could only begin in the mythical Xerothermic Oasis, with a super-reception from the Municipality of Mompantero. The students of the American University were able to understand and appreciate the biodiversity of the Oases and the actions of the project.
